Job Description:
As a Commis 1, you will play a vital role in our kitchen brigade. You will assist our chefs in the preparation and cooking of high-quality dishes, ensuring that they meet our exacting standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and assemble ingredients for cooking, following chef's instructions.
- Assist in the cooking and plating of dishes.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient service.
- Follow all food safety and hygiene protocols.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Basic knowledge of culinary techniques and kitchen equipment.
- A strong desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Food handler's certification (or willingness to obtain one).
