Job Description:
We are seeking dedicated and talented individuals to join our team as a Sommelier and Chef. If you are passionate about the art of food and wine, have a strong commitment to excellence, and want to be a part of a dynamic, beachfront restaurant, we encourage you to apply.
Sommelier Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage an extensive wine list tailored to our menu.
- Provide wine recommendations and pairings to guests based on their preferences and menu choices.
- Ensure proper wine storage and maintain inventory levels.
- Educate staff on wine service and assist in staff training.
- Create and manage wine events and tastings to enhance the guest experience.
Chef Responsibilities:
- Oversee the kitchen and ensure the quality and presentation of dishes meet our high standards.
- Develop and update the menu in collaboration with our culinary team.
- Manage kitchen staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling.
- Maintain food safety and hygiene standards.
- Create innovative and seasonally-inspired dishes that cater to our beachfront dining concept.
Qualifications:
Sommelier:
- Certified Sommelier or equivalent wine certification preferred.
- Proven experience in wine selection, pairing, and service.
- Strong knowledge of wine regions, grape varieties, and vintages.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Passion for wine and the ability to share that passion with our guests.
Chef:
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience in a high-end restaurant.
- Proven track record of culinary creativity and excellence.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Passion for creating memorable dining experiences.
